Installation & Setup

Q: Where does Shopman appear after installation?

Shopman minimizes to the system tray (bottom-right on Windows). Click the tray icon to show the main window.

Q: Shopman icon doesn't appear. What should I do?

  1. Confirm Shopman is running (tray icon visible)
  2. Close and reopen TikTok/1688 pages
  3. Restart Shopman so the built-in browser assistant re-initializes
  4. If still not available, send feedback in Settings → About

Q: Port 17921 is in use?

Run in PowerShell to find the conflicting process:

powershell
netstat -ano | findstr :17921

Then terminate the process in Task Manager.


Order Sync

Q: Orders synced but not showing on home screen?

Check:

  1. Is Shopman service running? (Sync status icon on home screen)
  2. Is WebSocket connected? (Green icon)
  3. Is the Shopman icon visible in the browser toolbar?
  4. Does the TikTok page have visible order data?

Q: Barcode downloaded during sync fails to open?

Use Chrome to open PDF files directly, or preview inside Shopman. File paths with Chinese characters may cause issues in some PDF readers.

Q: Only the first page of orders was synced?

TikTok's order backend is paginated. After scrolling to page 2+, click One-Click Sync again. Each sync deduplicates against existing records.


Suppliers & SKU

Q: WangWang ID is empty after supplier import?

Some 1688 suppliers don't display WangWang ID on their storefront. Edit the supplier manually and enter the WangWang ID found on their 1688 store page (right sidebar).

Q: SKU badge stays red even after I added a binding?

Check whether you set a default source. Yellow = bound but no default. Green = default set. You must mark one binding as default for auto-dispatch to work.


WangWang Messages

Q: Message not auto-filled after clicking "Open in WangWang"?

  1. Confirm the Shopman icon is visible in the browser toolbar
  2. Wait for the 1688 WangWang IM page to fully load (SPA rendering takes 3–8 seconds)
  3. If rendering is too slow, the system has an 8-second timeout — paste manually if needed
  4. Confirm the URL contains def_cbu_web_im

Payment & Logistics

Q: Auto-payment enabled but didn't trigger?

Auto-payment only works while Shopman is running. If the status changed while the app was closed, reopen Shopman and trigger manually.

Q: I entered the wrong tracking number — can I fix it?

Click the order row → expand step ⑥ → click the edit icon next to the tracking number → correct and save.


Data & Backup

Q: I accidentally deleted data — can I recover it?

If you have a previous .db backup, restore via Settings → Data Management → Restore from Backup. Without a backup, data cannot be recovered. Backup weekly.

Q: Will data be lost if I change computers?

No. Export a .db backup first, then restore on the new computer. Downloaded PDF files must be copied separately.
